The illustrators, designers, and creators who bring the dark fantasy worlds of Phase II & Deimos Infinitum to life.
Born in 1996 in Romania, Iulia grew up with a pencil in hand, her imagination fueled by childhood favorites like the X-Men and Spider-Man animated series. She went on to formally study traditional painting in Târgoviște before earning a Master's degree in traditional graphic arts from the National University of Fine Arts in Bucharest.
Today she works digitally, bringing the same disciplined craft to dark, expressive illustrations shaped by the work of Greg Capullo, Jorge Jiménez, and Dave Greco. She made her debut in comics with The Obzerian Chronicles and has since become a defining visual voice in the Phase II × Deimos Infinitum universe.
Rayven Studios is a Pakistan-based fantasy art studio founded and run by Imad Awad. Specializing in high-quality illustration for game companies, indie developers, and Kickstarter projects, Rayven has built a reputation for bold, immersive work that lives comfortably in the dark corners of the fantasy genre.
Their client roster speaks for itself, with credits including Wizards of the Coast and Magic: The Gathering. Rayven brings a proven, professional eye to every project, and we're proud to have them as a creative partner in the Phase II × Deimos Infinitum universe.
Born in 1997 in Bor, Serbia, Sofija Bulog is a visual artist working at the intersection of painting and visual storytelling. She studied Applied Painting at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, completing both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees there.
Her practice centers on the emotional and narrative potential of the image. Through traditional and digital painting, she explores how a single figure, gesture, or color can carry an entire story, inviting the viewer to sense what lies beneath the surface rather than what is explicitly shown. Alongside figurative work and portraiture, she ventures into metaphysical landscapes and liminal spaces: places that exist between waking reality and dream. Within these spaces, her affinity for the fantasy genre naturally emerges (not as an escape, but as a way of giving form to inner experience).
She has held five solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group shows, receiving several awards during her studies. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Painting Section of ULUS (Association of Fine Artists of Serbia). She currently lives and works in Belgrade.
Jimmy Nijs is a Dutch freelance illustrator specializing in fantasy and horror. His work pulls from the darker edges of the imagination: the kind of imagery that lingers well after the page is turned. Whether it's a creature lurking at the threshold of a scene or a figure caught in a moment of dread, Jimmy has a knack for making darkness feel alive.
His style is a natural fit for the worlds we build at Phase II × Deimos Infinitum, where tone and atmosphere carry as much weight as any written word.
Giovanni V. Crisan is a Panamanian artist and award-winning author of nine books, including The Headless Hammerhead Guide to Entrepreneurship and Other Advice for Business, 8:51 On the Blinking Clock and Other Stories, The Obsidian Chronicles, and Milk, Turkey, and Neurosis: Or, How Mother (Almost) Ruined My Life (the last published under the pen name Grace Ann Feldman).
A lover of music in all its forms, he plays bass guitar, guitar, and ukulele. He's an avid comic book collector and a restless visual experimenter; most days find him chasing a new style or technique. He is currently at work on the graphic stories Murderous Mary: The Hanging of a Giant and the horror comedy Hairycane, as well as the horror anthology The Obzerian Chronicles, created alongside a remarkable team of collaborators.
Giovanni lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his wife Colleen, their two children Nathan and Kaylee, and their dogs Penny Petunia and Sebastian.
Vasilie Odin Crisan is an active force in the world of tabletop roleplaying and horror storytelling. He runs the Left for the Vultures YouTube channel (formerly the Twisted Tentacle Inn) and is a regular personality on the Great Old Ones Gaming podcast, where he digs into gaming trends, strategies, and the craft of storytelling in and around the hobby.
With over a decade of experience at the table, Vasilie has written dozens of adventures and horror stories that venture deep into the realms of cosmic horror. His most recent work, Horror at Yishusu Landing, is a 350-page dual-system adventure designed for both Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder (and one of the most ambitious releases to come out of Phase II × Deimos Infinitum).
When he's not writing, Vasilie can usually be found watching movies, reading comics, or spending quality time with his wife Lua and their two dogs, Thor and Loki.
Daniel is a visual artist with six years of experience working as both a graphic designer and a freelance comic book artist. Over that time he has built a varied portfolio of collaborations across music and indie comics, working with publishers and studios including Geek Wality Comix, Bear Max Press, Dark Atom Studios, Scattle, Magnavolt, and Den Haku Records, each project sharpening his craft and pushing his style further.
His work sits at the crossroads of golden age comic aesthetics and something decidedly modern. In color, he draws inspiration from the chromatic direction of FCO Plascencia, Alex Sinclair, and Alejandro Sanchez; in line and form, from the draftsmanship of Greg Capullo, Sanford Greene, and Ryan Ottley. The goal is always the same: to create atmosphere, to tell a visual story, and to give the reader something vibrant and harmonious to get lost in.
